Two physics graduates finalists of the EPFL doctorate award
Vivishek Sudhir and Momchil Minkov
The selection committee for the EPFL doctorate award has given special distinctions to two physics doctorate graduates.
Vivishek Sudhir received a special distinction for his thesis entitled “Quantum Limits on Measurement & Control of a Mechanical Oscillator” under the supervision of Prof. Tobias Kippenberg.
Momchil Minkov received a special distinction for his thesis entitled “Numerical study and optimization of photonic crystals" under the supervision of Prof. Vincenzo Savona.
