For the second time in a row, Prof. Marc Gruber has won one of the most prestigious awards in the field of entrepreneurship research.
The article "Individual and Opportunity Factors Influencing Job Creation in New Firms" by Prof. Marc Gruber (ENTC – Entrepreneurship and Technology Commercialization) (published in the Academy of Management Journal, 2009, with J. Dencker, S. Shah) is the winner of the 2009 "Thought Leaders Award" by the Entrepreneurship Division of the Academy of Management. The award committee honors the best published papers in entrepreneurship in 2009 in three categories: foundational; thought-leader; and research promise.
