The SV-Running Team participated to the « 20Km de Lausanne »

Congratulations to the SV-Running team!
On Sunday April 23rd took place the running race « 20Km de Lausanne », a traditional and popular event very appreciated by runners of all ages.
For this 2017 edition 55 members of the SV School joined the SV-Running team, 20 run the full race of 20Km, and 35 run the half-race, 10Km. They were only a part of the 622 EPFL students, staff and Alumni members who participated in different teams.
The best runner of the SV team was Gerard Llimos Aubach, who obtained the 22nd position in men’s category at the 10Km race, run in an impressive time of 34.34.5 minutes . He was also the best runner among all EPFL team’s participants on the 10Km. Congratulations to him and all the SV runners!
The runners could enjoy perfect weather conditions in this sunny spring day. After the race everyone lingered to enjoy a well-deserved aperitif provided at the stand held by SV-Running in collaboration with EPFL-Alumni.
Considering the great success of this event, we are already looking forward to recruit a motivated SV team to participate to the Lausanne’s marathon on October 22nd, 2017 and of course for next year’s « 20Km » race.
