The CSD Environment Award 2017 to Mr. Essaïed for his Master thesis

Mr Karim-Alexandre Essaïed has won the CSD Environment Award 2017 for his Master thesis on the development of a new analytical method for measuring the total concentration of potent mutagenic and carcinogenic N-Nitrosamines in water. This award rewards an excellent master project whose quality is distinguished by solutions that increase the quality of life and the environment. The method developed by Mr. Essaïed is simple to apply and constitutes the basis for new developments at the Laboratory for Water Quality and Treatment.
