Prof. de Rassenfosse receives funding from the EPO

Prof. de Rassenfosse received financial support from the European Patent Office (EPO) in Munich for his project entitled: “Insights from Product-Patent Correspondence”.

The EPO Academic Research Program provides financial support for rigorous research projects that set out to produce empirical evidence with relevant implications for policymakers and business in Europe. Out of almost 70 proposals, six proposals were awarded an EPO grant, leading to a success rate lower than nine per cent.

This competitive grant acknowledges the originality and policy relevance of the work conducted at the Innovation and IP Policy lab, and further establishes Prof. de Rassenfosse as a leading scholar in the field.
