Konstantinos G. Lagoudakis recieves the Swiss Physical Society Award

Working on the hot topic of Bose-Einstein condensation of polaritons in microcavity systems, Konstantinos has shown his outstanding capabilities, both in mastering difficult experimental techniques and in developing a deep theoretical understanding.
20.05.2010 The Swiss Physical Society has selected M. Konstantinos Lagoudakis (on the right in the picture) (LOEQ - Laboratory of Quantum Optoelectronics) for the SPS 2010 award "for major contributions to the observation of Half-Quantum Vortices in an Exciton-Polariton Condensate". The award was presented at the annual meeting of the Swiss Physical Society in June.
