Interested in encouraging sustainable development, BG bestows an annual award to an EPFL master’s candidate whose thesis makes a significant contribution in this area.
BG Consulting Engineers is delighted to note the quality of the 2010 entries. After deliberating, the jury felt that one stood out above the rest in terms of embodying the spirit of the award. It has unanimously decided to honour Ms. Juliana Leon for her master’s thesis entitled "Modelling Computer Waste Flows in the Formal and the Informal Sector: A Case Study in Colombia" and directed by Prof. Ch. Ludwig.
