Former LASIG's PhD student rewarded in France
GdR MAGIS Award to Matthieu Noucher
Matthieu NOUCHER (PhD La donnée géographique aux frontières des organisations : approche socio-cognitive et systémique de son appropriation, LASIG, EPFL) and Sidonie CHRISTOPHE (PhD Aide à la conception de légendes personnalisées et originales : proposition d’une méthode coopérative pour le choix des couleurs, IGN-COGIT) are the prizewinners 2010 of the GdR MAGIS award.
This award has been put up 4 years ago by the GdR MAGIS (Groupement de Recherche sur les Méthodes et Applications pour la Géomatique et l`Information Spatiale) through the development of a science policy to help new PhDs to publicize their work.
The award ceremony took place at the SAGEO conference on november 17th.
