Prof. Lignos presented an invited paper on the "seismic stability and ductility of steel columns interacting with concrete footings" during the 8th International Conference on Composite Construction in Steel and Concrete that was held in the Spring Creek Ranch in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, USA. The paper was co-authored by RESSLab PhD student Hiroyuki Inamasu and Prof. Amit Kanvinde (UC Davis). Participants from 19 countries around the world presented the most recent findings on composite systems under multiple hazards.
